Need help! with John P. Adkins who was in the civil war in the 9th Battalion Tenn. Calavry. He married Mary Ann Rhodes and was living in Fentress Co., Tenn. in 1860. Need to know who his parents and siblings were. John was born about 1839 in possibly Tenn.. He and Mary had four children, William D.,John W., Franklin W. and Rebecca. He has turned out to be a major brick wall. If anyone has any ideas on this family it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
