Thanks for your inquiry and note. My research has been focused only on Adix, and not the other possible versions. This version has been consistent since at least 1727 in the specific area of Mecklenburg Germany. I have located family history records in the parish
records of Marnitz, Bruno, Ziegendorf and have visited the latter site in 1992. Family data research in the USA has been similarly limited to the Adix version. It is of interest to me to know where/when other versions began and if they have common or separate origins. Thanks you.
