Dear John
Sorry for the delay in replying to your email re- the Ades,
I managed to collect some information which I think could be of interest to you, & then I became so busy with my work
that I let this side of things slip behind, but after Xmas I will sort it out again. It would help to know if you reside in this country, but if not, I will need to be more explicit regarding the names of villages & their whereabouts. I notice that one of my ancestors was named Spencer, which is not a very common name. This summer we spent some time searching graveyards for headstones of relatives in different Sussex villages & found quite a few.
If you could possibly get in touch with me, regarding your location etc., I will spend some time sorting out names & dates for you, amazing if we turned out to be cousins twice or three times removed [whatever that means]. I actually live not far from Cambridge, but the rest of my family live in Sussex.
Best Wishes to you & your family for a Happy Christmas
From Christine[Chris]
