JAF Aderholt, born Nov 17, 1838, Lincoln Co, NC, a farmer, 6th of 9 children of David
Civil War soldier,
married first to Maude Hoover, 1860
married second to BSA Crouse,1865
married third time to Susan L Baker, Apr 27, 1890
who was born Mar 9, 1861 and died Feb 22, 1928
Their five children:
Victor, Arthur. Mattie, Claude, Preston
19 children in all.
Victor was an educator (more info available, just let me know)
Arthur was a farmer/deputy sherrif
Mattie was a teacher
Claude was an educator
Preston died as a child, 7 years old
