Thank you for the added information on Heye.

To put at rest your question of time, I have a direct quote from one of the Aden clan. This response was in direct line to age and marriage..."Well, it's pretty evident that most of the Aden menfolk married later. That, of course, lead to having less children in the families, but I think we were more attentive to the families we did have." I asked if there was a specific reason that the generations before him, and himself, were of that marrying style. He looked straight at me and said, "That German train of thought was to get established and have a piggy bank before marriage. To me, it meant finish my college education first and get a steady job with advancements." I returned the conversation with a question of the Aden women to which he replied that they "find a solid man and marry for a lifetime", with lots of children.

In the case of Heye, he married later, typical for this family. Cent is known to me only by name. Her passing, I believe was too early. Hiskia is a bit more familiar to me. In my files I have more on who she is and such, but not on the top of my head.

You are right as far as the couple being in IL...so was Enne. They were neighbors and close in movement. Enne went to NE for a spell after his wife died and I think he stayed with Hiskia's family. It's been about four years since I looked at this stuff, but I do recall Enne couldn't take care of his children after his wife died, and the kids were dispersed to extended family. Enne and Heye traveled to NE a couple times to visit, always returning to IL. One visit Enne made to his growing son in NE was to find his intention was to relocate out west....Enne moved west too.

In looking for more data on Enne, I ran across either Haye or Mimke doing farmhand work one summer, and I was gathering land documents when I ran across something in the Oregon collection for that side of the family.

Finally, I don't think Enne is a brother...he was an only child. I do think these two are cousins, and that Heye is the cousin that Enne skated over to see the time he got into trouble (as a kid). If this is one and the same, Heye was living near the Bavarian border. There are a LOT of Adens over there still and they all want to share. That might be something you might want to look into.

Thanks again for the help. If you have anything further I'm still willing to share what I have in return.
