If anyone has any information that they can add to this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Back in August 2006, I had requested information on a Fredrick ADEN (1883-1974) for his siblings and parents. Florence was kind enough to respond and thus started the search. Since then I have gained a bit of information to share with everyone.

b. 11 Jan 1805 in where I believe to be Holtrop, Ostfriesland, Germany
d. 15 Jun 1867 in Clayton, Adams, Illinois
There is not a date/place of marriage, but he married
Wübke Hinrichs HÖFT
b. 06 Oct 1806 in Germany
d. 04 Mar 1865 probably in Clayton, Adams, Illinois
From this union, there were 7 children, all born in Holtrop, Ostfriesland, Germany. All have the last name of ADEN:
1 -- Ehm Mennen b. 16 Apr 1832
2 -- Janna Mennen b. 13 Sep 1834
3 -- Tjede Mennen b. 16 Feb 1837
4 -- Hinrich Mennen b. 28 Dec 1841 (My GGGrandfather)
5 -- Antje Mennen b. 09 Feb 1843
6 -- Trientje Mennen b. 08 May 1849
7 -- Aaltje Mennen b. 29 Nov 1853

All emigrated from Bremen, Germany in 1858 and arrived at New Orleans.

1st Marriage was 19 Oct 1861 in place unknown
Ettje Maria LEENERTS
b. 18 Jun 1844 in Oltmannsfehn, leer, Niedersachsen, Germany
d. 20 May 1878 in Golden, Adams County, Illinois, USA
From this union there were 9 children, of which only 3 survived, all born in Adams County, Illinois, USA. All have the last name of ADEN:
1 -- Menne Heinrich b. 28 May 1865
2 -- Ettje Maria b. 27 Oct 1868
3 -- Renke Heinrich b. 04 Jun 1871
I do not know anything else on these children.
2nd Marriage was 13 Feb 1879 in Adams County, Illinois, USA
Gretje (Grace) Friedrichs BEHRENDS (this is her 2nd marriage also. 1st marriage was to a FECHT while in Germany. No children were of this union and no other information is known on the Fecht individual)

d. 02 Mar 1888 in Golden, Adams County, Illinois, USA
From this union, there were 4 children born, all survived and born in Adams County, Illinois, USA. All have the last name of ADEN:
1 -- Wübke (Carrie) Hinrichs b. 23 Nov 1879
2 -- Ettje Hinrichs b. May 1881
3 -- Fredrich Hinrichs b. 06 Feb 1883 (my GGrandfather)
4 -- Ehme Hinrichs b. 24 Oct 1884

When Henry and Grace died, the children then went to Hiram Friedrichs BEHRENDS to be raised. This also included Renke, from Henry's first marriage. It would seem that Etta did also get married, of which my first inquiry stated that it looked like she did not.
