I'm looking for information about an Anna Aden who married Class Foss.
They had at least two children, Claas Behrend and Wessel.
Claas (a.k.a. Claus or Charles) B. Foss (Fass) was born on June 21, 1836, in Hannover, Germany, and baptized July 10 in the village of Wiesederfehn. He was a musician in Germany. Claas Foss did in fact come to America in 1850 and settled just near Petersberg, Menard Co., Illinois.
On August 7, 1862 he enlisted in the Company K, 114th Illinois Infantry at Camp Butler, Springfield, Illinois. He was discharged at Vicksburg, on Aug 3, 1865, and returned home to Petersberg for a short time. Shortly after the war, he moved to a place near Latrobe, Johnson County, Nebraska. Claas married Tena Margaretha Eilers on December 28, 1868. He became a farmer and lived in the Adams and Sterling areas for the rest of his life. He and Tina raised a family of six children, all of them born in Nebraska. Claus died in Sterling on December 10, 1924.

Wessel Fass was born April 6, 1848 in Wiesderfehn, Germany and died March 13, 1940. He had sons named Tjark and Gerd Janssen, who were soldiers. They all remained in Germany.
