Hi Arlene,
My interest in the Aden family is Sarah L. Depriest who married Wm A. Aden 14 Sep 1879 in Lawrence Co., Missouri (Jackson F. Box, M.G.) Jackson Box also officiated at the marriage of John Aden to Malissa Bass 19 Dec 1878 in Lawrence Co., which I think you already have. The marriages probably took place in the eastern part of the county which would be somewhat near the Greene Co. line.
I found your Aden folks as follows:
8 July 1870, Bridges Township, Ozark County, Missouri - Gainsville P. O., p.194(b)
William Aden 33 TN farm labor
Susannah 27 PA
John N. 12 IA
William A. 10 MO
Elizabeth 5 MO
Ev??? C. (f) b.May MO
Ozark County is 2 or 3 counties southeast of Lawrence Co. and borders on Arkansas. (There is an Ozark Township in Lawrence Co.)
In 1880 John and Malissa (Bass) Aden are in Barry Co., MO (no children listed). I have not located the rest of the Aden family in 1880.
