I have a note, but not much more, that mentions a John Addy, born around 1800, who migrated to Michigan. Supposedly, John was an older brother of my ggg-grandfather Peter J. Addy of France & Switzerland and later possibly Michigan. Another younger brother of theirs, named Jacques or James, reportedly was born around 1816 in Upper Alsace and migrated to New York in 1840. Any of this resonate?
