Evidently, Agnes is the sister of my great-grandfather Joseph Peter Addy. She was the 12th of 14 children including a set of triplets. The last child died at birth along with the mother, Margaritte.

Joseph Peter and Agnes's father was Peter "Pierre" Joseph Addy who died in 1909 in Anchorville, Mi. Depending on the source, he was either born in 1842 or 45 in Switzerland, then migrated to Michigan in 1860; or according to Joseph Peter's birth/baptismal certificate was born in the USA in 1845; or according to Joseph Peter's death certificate, was born in 1845 in France. Pierre Joseph Addy's wife was Margaritte Biendit (aka Bendit, Beindit) born in 1847 in Switzerland and migrated to the US in 1852 (landed in NYC, from Liverpool, I think).

Pierre Joseph Addy's father was Peter Addy, born in 1810, possibly in Switzerland, and according to the 1880 census, a farmer in St. Clair, Michigan. Joseph Peter Addy's birth/baptimal certificate identifies Peter, his grandfather, as born in the USA (as it does his father "Pierre" Joseph). Peter Addy's wife was Constance Gayor (or Cayor), born in Switzerland

Contact me anytime via email. I'd be interested in any information you may have discovered and will be glad to share what I have.
