I recently joined my parents search for the Addy family tree and came across this website. I am from this branch of the family: My ggrandfather was Edgar Samuel Addy (1855-1940) who was married to Laura Fannin (1863-1942). Edgar's father was Ervin E. who was married to Amanda Dyson, and Ervins's father was Jacob Addy (1804-1863) m. to Mary Rawls (1802-1850). I am decendent from Edgar Samual and Laura Fannin. One of their children was Lucius Olen Addy (1887-1955) m. Blanche Lorine Clark (1893-1976) (there was also a son Marvin m. Gertrude, as well as a daughter - I have this info just not handy). Anyway, Lucius Olen Addy and Blanche had 3 sons: Lucius Olen, Jr (1918-2001), William E. (1919-1993), and Charles (1929- ). L.O.,Jr. was my dad.
I am trying to find out about this line in the Addy family. The info in the attached email is correct from everything I've been able to find but I can't seem to get back further than Jacob and Mary Rawls. Does anyone have any info on this?
