Hello:
My name is Laura and I am trying to find information on Sarah Addy (b) abt 1825 in Bay de Verde Nfld, she married William Riggs (b) abt 1817 in Bay de Verde. They married in 1842 and had a large family. Have more info there if you are interested.
Also a Elizabeth Adey d/o (possibly) William Adey and Hannah. She was baptized in 1830 and married to Thomas Riggs on Nov 8 1849 in Bay de Verde. They had about 7 children. I also have a Mary and a Ann listed as her sisters. William Adey's father may be Stephen Adey (m) to Sarah and had Thomas, Susanna, William and Mary. William was baptized in 1797.
Is there any connection or do you know of them?. I've been treating Addy and Adey as two surnames.
