Hello - I am into family heritage too, - lots of Addy's. I believe the William Addy you refer to - born in Ireland 1750 could be the grandfather of William (Will) Addy who
married a Miss Taylor in Amsterdam, Holland and came to this country and settled in Georgia. From hand written paperthat I have, I assume some of the family left Ireland, went to Holland for religious reasons, then came to this country. My grandmother married a Jacob Simeon Addy Oct. 3, 1900 - Atlanta, Ga.
