Robert Buxton Davis Sr. was born 10 May 1889 and died 6 Jul 1947. He is buried at Love's UMC, Walkertown, NC. His father was Robert Hurley Davis, born 5 May 1858, died 27 May 1918. Robert Buxton Davis Sr. married Essie Campbell, born 9 Aug 1896, died 3 May 1985. She is also buried at Love's. Robert Buxton had a sister, Lillian Davis, who married Virgil Gray of Philadelphia. I believe Robert Hurley Davis was the son of John Davis of Kernersville, NC who married Elizabeth Dean, and grandson of Healey or Haley Davis who married Sarah Sell.
