Paul,
Asa Everett Addington was the son of James Addington and Matilda Ann Bradley. Matilda was the dau of Asa Bradley, Jr. and Susannah Shepherd, who lived 1830/40 in Macon County NC. Before 1850, they moved into Union County GA, and from there into Carroll County AR. Susannah died sometime after the 1860 census was taken. Asa remarried a couple of times and died prior to 1880, probably in Boone County AR where he owned property.
James and Matilda were in Benton County AR in 1860, and Taney County MO in 1870. They, along with other family members, moved via wagon train to Idaho, settling in Adams and Washington Counties there. I can snail mail you more info. Contact me housereeves@yahoo.com
Bradley kin,
Joyce
