Dear Cousin- From the Addington Book:
Andrew Jackson Addington, Jr. son of Andrew Jackson and Verlina (Hutchinson) Addington was b. July 11 1850 Scott Co VA near Dungannon, died Sept 13 1925 in Lodi, San Joaquin Co CA. Married Jan 10, 1867 Sarah Anne Ramey b. May 14, 1849 near Dungannon, Scott Co VA, d. Oct 4, 1937 Central Lake Antrim MI. There are several pictures and stories of this family as well as info on descendants. Let me know if you desire any of this. I will go back and give info on ancestors as you requested.
Andrew Jackson Addington, son of Tandy Welch and Margaret Addington, was born 1815 in Scott Co VA, died abt 1890 in Scott Co VA. Married Dec 23, 1833 in Scott Co VA to Verlina Easter Hutchinson b. Dec 28, 1818 in Scott Co VA, died June 2, 1897 in Scott Co VA, daughter of Peter Jr. and Elizabeth Todd (Mason)Hutchinson. (Peter was a 1st cousin of Pres. Andrew Jackson)Children:

Now back another generation, I descend from Margaret Addington also, through her daughter Lucy Stallard.
Margaret Addington, daughter of William and Margaret (Cromwell) Addington was born Feb 1797 in Russell Co VA, d. Aug 15, 1882 in Scott Co Va-buried in the Moore Cemetery near Dungannon, Scott Co VA.
When Margaret was 5 years old her father was admitted to the Insane Asylum in Williamsburg VA and was 8 when he died in 1805. Not known who cared for her while her mother stayed to help care for her father.
At the age of 17 or 18 Margaret became involved with Tandy Welch, possibly the son of William Welch. As a result of this involvement Margaret bore Tandy Welch 2 children: Andrew Jackson Addington and Elizabeth Addington (who married Duncan Alan Stallard).
Tandy Welch b. VA 1793, d. Nov 24, 1864 in Hancock Co TN. Tandy enlisted for service in the War of 1812 on Nov 13, 1814. Served under Capt John Brock in the 4th Regiment, discharged May 18, 1815. Tandy owned land in Claiborne Co TN, Lee Co VA. Tandy was a minister in the Methodist church. He married Mary Clarkson and had 17 children.
Margaret married Dec 19 1823 in Scott Co VA Peter Stallard and they had 8 children.
