Hi Carolyn, Yes, I think this Mary E. Aday should be my Francis' Mother but the age is wrong ... and now I'm beginning to think I'm looking for one of Albert's brother's as her husband. A lot is coming back to me. Grandfather's sister was Aunt Lilly. Do you have birth dates for Francis and Lilly?
This family (Francis M. and Mary J. [on 1870 Morgan County cencus] appears to have moved together...whoever was left at home, with Mary J. as head. And then sort of moved back and forth).
I still own part mineral rights for the land in Texas. The sale was in the late 40's and there were still Aday relatives in the area. I think it was Lilly's family.
