Dear Charles:
I was pleased to see a posting so soon after I suggested this surname for a GenForum board.
Unfortunately, I do not have information readily at hand on the Adamski branch of the family. This is my husband's family and both my brother and sister-in-law are in the process of sending me what they have.I will also be questioning my husband's uncle (age 83) and aunt (age 70).As soon as I have any input, I will let you know.
I do know that my husband has a cousin named Marianne, but I'm not sure if she was named after someone.I will also try to discover that.
I also know that this is the right "neck of the woods," as both the Adamski and Zlotkowski families settled in both Connecticut (where my husband is from) and New York, primarily Brooklyn.
I will be back in touch soon.
