Your forum attracted my attention because my dad and grandfather came from Adams. Many tombstones in the cemetary at Red River Baptist Church bare the Edwards name and most are my relatives. My grandfather's name was Jerome Alonzo Edwards, he was the son of Mary Wilmoth Jackson Edwards (do not know husbands first name). There were three other children: Miles, Wm. R. and Wilmoth. All from Adams. If you could give me any info on my family it would be appreciated. Adams was not that big. Mary Wilmoth was the daughter of Dabney Jackson and Dorothy Dunn married 5-12-1839. Dabney Jackson was the sonof Thompson Jackson. What I really want to know is more about the Edwards side of the family.
