I am looking for any information on the parents of William R Adams and other family. He married Mary Adelia Hill in 1864 Cass Co MI, but was reported born in IN. His death certificate and various other information does not list his fathers first name but was supposedly born in Scotland. His mother is said to be African American or American Indian and from Delaware (his death lists her last name as Stevens). I know he was born about 1839. Any information would be appreciated.
