Here are the specifics of my James M Adams that I know for certain. He was born roughly 1815-1817 and married "Sarah" S. Donaldson in 1849(Spelled Sara on tombstone.)
My James was a miner and later a farmer and he passed away July 15 1899 (court records July 16 as this was when the official paperwork was filed), his children according to Dahlonega court records were:
James M Adams Jr (listed birth abt 1852, according to Dahlonega court records he was "residing in the state of Alabama" in 1900)
Absalom Q. Adams - Married Sophronia E. Ownby Adams (both are buried in lumpkin county along with James SR and Sara.)
Joseph Robert Adams - Married Roselie Parrish aka Rose Lee Parrish Adams (These are my gr gr grandparents)
Mary Ann Adams - information unknown
and a son named Roarke Roe Adams (went by Roe adams) who married Sarah E. Stringer?(unsure about this marriage).
