Born in Michigan, USA 1890 both parents born in Illinois..
Although I found him in the 1930 census I can't seem to get any further.
My fathers mother was very angry at him and tore up the pictures and anything that could identify him. Not even my father knew anything more about him. My father passed away in "03".
Grandma Adams claimed that (as well as many) that Grandpa was related to President Adams through a Lt. General Adams of California. I've also heard of the Adams family book that we were supposed to be in. But that is all here say until it is confirmed. There is a sugar bowl that my grandmother Adams said had belonged to the President which looks old but there are no marks.
