late 1700's Adams in Harrison Co., KY /John/ Lavisa/Nancy/Elizabeth

I am looking for information on this Harrison Co., KY family. Lavisa (Vicey, Levicey) Adams married Abselom Doane in Harrison Co, in 1821. Lavisa was named in the will (1819) of her father John Adams along with her siblings John, Jr., Nancy and Elziabeth. I have not seen the will, but they were apparently not of age and required a guardian. There may have been other older children.

The thought is that John Adams who left the will (1819) was (could be/might be) the son of James and Cecily Ford Adams of Goochland / Fluvanna County VA. The information that I had on John the son of James was that he was born c.1760, married Susannah and had children Mary, Pamela, Thomas, William and John, Jr. So the only common factor between the two John's is that they had a son named John.

It is possible that one group was the older children and that the others may have been by a second wife.

I am descended from another son of James and Cecily Ford Adams. There are a few of us who are descended from James or his brother Robert who have been involved with the DNA testing. We are family 28 on the Familytreedna results page.

I am attempting to find an Adams descendant of John of Harrison Co, KY who may have been tested or may be willing to be tested.

Thanks

Al Adams
