One of the prettiest weddings of this season was that of Anna Eunice Shepard, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Fred B. The bride was given away by her father.
The bride was gowned in peach georgette and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. The dress of the maid of honor was of flame colored georgette and she carried a bouquet of sweet peas.
The bridal table was decorated in pink and white. Besides the bride's parents the guests included Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lewis and their, daughter, Grace, Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, Mr. Dewitt Shepard, Miss Dorothy and Miss Jane Bishop of Pulaski, Mrs. Ruth Tanner and daughter, Lucile of Syracuse, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Esty of Belleville, Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Cobb of Richland.

Note: Since "The Democrat" was a weekly paper, the wedding probably took place the previous week [Tuesday, June 15] not just the day before publication [June 22]. However, without primary evidence, the date of marriage is questionable.
