I have a g g g g grandfather named Johannes Jacob Adam, born 5 Sept 1775, died 1 May 1854. He had a daughter born in Berks County PA (PA Dutch country) named Susanna, born 5 July 1818, died 19 March 1865. Johannes could very well been John who had his name Germanized, instead of vice-versa. I know these people pre-date the arrival of yours, but they are supposedly from Scotland. Be interested in your family background. Thanks
