James Jacob Adam Sr.was born Feb. 16, 1835
in Aberdeen, Scotland to David Adam and Rebecca Craik. When James Came to Ontario, Canada and then on to Chicago, Ill he changed the spelling of his last name to Adams. He married Susannah Houser born Nov. 9,1839 in Campden, Ontario, Canada.Who were her parents? They were Mennonites (sp?) She may have had a brother Samuel Houser.James and Susannah had children:
James Jacob Adams Jr.b.June 28,1870 in Chicago,Ill.
