I am researching the surname ADAM. Not until recently did I have proof that the surname was spelled ADAM by a Great Aunt that is in her 90's. My lineage of ADAM came to Ohio from PA., and I am sure they were either Mennonite or German Baptist religion. My immigrant was William Adam, his son Augustus died at age 86 in 1922. I have yet to find a grave for William Adam. Additonally, I am looking for my German connection of "Altenburger". That immigrant is Peter Alexander Altenburger. Peter arrived in the USA in the 1830's. As I learn more I would like to continue with data. Thank you.
