My great-grandfather was William Adam, probably born in the 1860 in Wisconsin. He married Mary -- Packenham, I think. My grandmother was born in 1886 in St. Croix County, Wisconsin.
William came west and was a pioneer builder in Washington. We think his wife, Mary, died while my grandmother was a little girl. and her Packenham granparents raised her in Minneapolis, we thing.
Can anyone help me trace myt family histoy back farther? The records might be under the surname Adams.
