Hi, I'm looking for information on my mothers family from the Glasgow Scotland area.
James Adam married Jean Jarvie on Dec 13, 1801 in Kilsyth Stirling Scotland. DOB and DOD UNKNOWN

Handby's parents may have been Alexander Smith and Ann Jons
Alexander Adam married Mary Thomson on June 2, 186? Lanark, Glasgow, Scotland. DOB and DOD UNKNOWN

James Archibald my gg-grandfather married Alberta May Dykeman (1866-1934).
James Archibald imgrated to Canada after traveling the world by sea. While at port in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, James broke his leg unloading cargo. There he was nursed back to health by Alberta May, later married her, had 13 children and lived to the age of 92.

George William Adams (my grandfather) married Gladys Maude Best (1900-1971) on Dec 10, 1918 in Saint John NB, Canada. I believe at this time George added the "S" to his surname.
They had 14 children including my mother Madeline Irene born Mar 8, 1930.
I'm looking for any family connection (Scotland) to my family who can help fill in some of the missing dates.
