We have a Helen/Ellen Adam, b. 1829 in Kilmarnock. Nothing is known of her family apart from her parents’ names, James Adam & Janet Whylie. Also, two of Helen’s sisters were apparently deaf. Helen later went on to marry Robert Mills. Hmm...not much.
