This is really a long shot but I have a David Adams of PA who married a _____ Crothers. Several of their children moved with them to Warren Co., Illinois from Ohio where they were born. Later, after marrying and starting their families at least two of their children, David (married Coleman) and William (married Talbott) moved to Iowa.

One source indicates that David's wife may have been Virginia Jane Crothers. However, I have not been able to verify this.
