John Blaine Adare is one of my wife's ancestors. It appears that we may be able to help each other as I have a lot of the other descendants but for John S B M Adare's.

Descendants of William Issac Adare

I. William Issac ADARE was born circa 1780 in Tennessee. He married Eleanor MOON. He appeared on the census of January 1809 in Madison, Alabama. He deeded land on on 7 February 1809 in 160 acres in range 2-E-4 on the Flint River, Madison, Alabama. He and James ADAIR were associated in 1810 in Madison, Alabama. He was in lawsuits on 28 March 1810 in Chancery Court, Madison, Alabama. He was a juror on 11 January 1813 in Chancery Court, Madison, Alabama. He began military service on 22 April 1814 served as a Private in Capt. Neeley's Company of Mounted Gunmen and was ordered into served as guard for provisions and other public property in the War of 1812. He ended military service on 14 May 1814. He was a juror in May 1815 in Madison, Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1816 in Madison, Alabama. He was a juror in May 1816 in Chancery Court, Madison, Alabama. He deeded land on 4 February 1818 in SW1/4, Sec 21, T5S, R2W, Madison, Alabama. He died between 1819 and 1824 in Madison, Alabama.

A. John Blaine ADARE was born on 15 September 1809 in Madison, Alabama. He married Sarah "Sally" Elvira SUBLETT, daughter of Benjamin Branch SUBLETT and Mary AKIN. He deeded land on on 23 February 1835 in NE1/4 of NE1/4, Sec6, T4S, R2E, Madison, Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1840 in Madison, Alabama. He and Sarah "Sally" Elvira SUBLETT appeared on the census of 1850 in District 35, Madison, Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1860 in New Hope, Madison, Alabama. He moved on in 1875 to in Hays, Texas. He died on 17 January 1891 in Wimberley, Hays, Texas, at age 81. He was buried in Adare Cemetery, Hays, Texas.

1. William Branch ADARE was born on 13 January 1834 in Madison, Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of John Blaine ADARE and Sarah "Sally" Elvira SUBLETT in District 35, Madison, Alabama. He moved on on 15 May 1855 to in Texas. He began military service on 1 April 1861 in Company D, 1st Texas Cavary, San Antonio, Bexar, Texas. He began military service in 1862 in Company A, 32nd Regiment, Texas. He was in in Battle of Mansfield, Louisiana, in 1864. He ended military service on 24 May 1865 in near Richmond, Texas. He appeared on the census of 1870 in San Marcos, Hays, Texas. He married Mary Victorine O'BANION, daughter of Jennings Alexander O'BANION and Mary Magdelene GROSS, on 23 March 1870 in Hays, Texas. He appeared on the census of 1880 in Hays, Texas. Reference: filed Confederate Pension Application on 14 January 1914 in Wimberley, Hays, Texas. He died on 12 May 1923 in San Marcos, Hays, Texas, at age 89.

a) Thomas Cleveland ADARE was born on 22 March 1885 in Wayside, Texas. He married Martha Elizabeth HERFURTH, daughter of Gottlieb HERFURTH and Elizabeth SOLLER. He lived on 6 January 1934 in 362 South Gilbert Street, New Braunfels, Comal, Texas. He died on 5 May 1966 at age 81.

(1) Randolph Lloyd ADARE was born on 11 September 1908. He died on 28 May 1988 in Seguin, Guadalupe, Tx, at age 79.

2. James S B M ADARE was born in 1835 in Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of John Blaine ADARE and Sarah "Sally" Elvira SUBLETT in District 35, Madison, Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1880 in Madison, Alabama.

3. Mary E. ADARE was born in 1842 in Alabama. She appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of John Blaine ADARE and Sarah "Sally" Elvira SUBLETT in District 35, Madison, Alabama. She married Fleming J. TAYLOR, son of John TAYLOR and Elizabeth GARNER, on 10 March 1881 in San Marcos, Hays, Texas. She died in 1930.

4. Samuel Jordan ADARE was born on 11 May 1845 in Madison, Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of John Blaine ADARE and Sarah "Sally" Elvira SUBLETT in District 35, Madison, Alabama. He married Ruth Ann TAYLOR, daughter of John TAYLOR and Elizabeth GARNER, on 15 November 1869 in Madison, Alabama. He died on 25 February 1923 in Hays, Texas, at age 77.

C. Elizabeth ADARE married Matthew JORDEN on 6 November 1833 in Madison, Alabama.

D. Samuel William ADAIR was born in 1818 in Alabama. He married Mary Jane FRIEZE on 6 November 1848 in Madison, Alabama. He appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Eleanor MOON, his mother, in Madison, Alabama. He deeded land on on 28 March 1855 in SE1/4 of NE1/4, Sec 6, T4S, R2E, Madison, Alabama. He died in 1895 in Johnson Township, St. Francis, Arkansas. He was buried in 1895 in Yarbro Cemetery, Colt, St. Francis, Arkansas.

1. Margaret ADAIR was born in 1840 in Alabama. She was ill with deafness before 1850. She appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Eleanor MOON in Madison, Alabama.
