Does anyone have any information on John Isaac Adair and wife Ruth Greer? They were in Laurens Co., S.C., Duncans Creek. Isaac was killed by the Tories April 1781. They had three children: (1) Isaac who migrated to Alabama and Mississippi (my gg grandfather). He married Mary Walker Crenshaw; (2) Jacob, posterity unknown to family; (3) Jane, married a Mr. Reid. After Isaac's death, Ruth (his widow) moved to Jackson Co., Ga. and purchased land. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
