I am not a direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson Adair Jr. He had a brother named Samuel Jefferson who I am a descendant of. I am also putting a book together of My great grandfather John Washington Adair and Cynthia Jane Penrod and their descendants.

I've read that Thomas Jr. and Mary Vancil settled in Arizona 3 miles Nort-West of Show Low in 1879 and they called the place Adair. If you have any more information about this would you pass it on to me.
