From the "Calendar of State Papers," 1598-1599, p.10,
there was a William Adair of Gilhilte (Kinhilt)
about Dec 1597 who said he would send two of his sons for pledges.
Did William Adair who went to Ballymena,Ireland, have sons
in-between Sir Robert Adair and his younger step-bro,
Rev. William Adair of Ayr ?
