Hi, I am looking for any information on identity of the parents of my great-great-grandmother Phoebe Adair (born in Yarmouth, Elgin County, Ontario in 1829). Her husband was Robert McLean (born in Beamsville, Lincoln County, about 1822), and I am descended from their son David McLean and his wife Caroline Carr. As David Adair is the only Adair listed in the 1842 census of Yarmouth County, he is clearly a strong possibility as Phoebe's father. There are also some signs of an Adair/Eveland /McLean connection (Robert McLean appears as a witness on a land transaction by Abraham Eveland for example). So I just want to ask if anyone may now have knowledge of any other children of David Adair and Lydia Eveland, in addition to Elizabeth. Thanks.
