John Franklin Adair is the grandson of Charles
Duncan Adair of Murray Co., GA. Charles is in
turn the son of John Adair and Jean Farris. John
Adair also married Nancy Lightfoot (Ga-ho-ga), a
Cherokee, so John Franklin has some part Cherokee
half-cousins. There is a lot of genealogical info
available on both branches of John Adair's descendant
tree. I can send you what I have, if you like.
