I am a descendant of Dr. James Robert Adair through his dau., Sara Anna Adair, who married William McTyer (McTeer,McTire). My info. came from "Kinfolks" by Harllee, and later from the McTyer Clan genealogist. I had never seen anything about Adair's wife (or wives). Can you quote me a resource? I've never worked in the Robeson Co. area libraries. Have been concentrating on other lines.Do you have anythilng on Thomas Adair and is immigration from Ireland to NC. Where did he land? Who did he come over with? I'm hungrey for any crumbs thrown my way. Thanks.
