Those are my Adairs. I am descended from Joseph, son of Samuel, son of William, all of New Castle Delaware or Cecil County Maryland. Would love to hear from any other Adairs of this line. William was married to Elizabeth Mary Irvin. Samuel was married to Hannah ____. They had at least two sons, John and Joseph. Joseph was married first to Mary Chiles (two sons) and after her death to Eleanor Overfield. I am descended from their son Abner John Adair and Mary Ann Adkins. William Adair appears to be the first Adair of our line in America. He was here in abt. 1706. Part of this line ended up in Kentucky, Missouri, and Texas. The other children of Joseph Adair are: Abram, Isaac (Mother Mary), Joseph, Mary, Hiram, and Ellis.
