1881 Census shows Ellen Adair, widow, age 62 born in Ireland,living with her son William Adair, age 29 in Ward 6 London, Ontario.
1871 Census shows another Ellen Adair, age 50 born in Ireland living in London also, Ward 6.
Can anyone give me any other information re this family? Would like to have death year of Hamilton Adair, Ellen's husband.Searching for marriage records for Hamilton Adair who married Ellen (maiden not known). May have been married in Ireland before immigrating to Canada.
They had a son together name of William, born 1852 in Kingston Ontario. Other children????
William marries Elizabeth Naylor in 1884. They have a son named Hamilton (after his grandfather). This Hamilton is my grandfather, father of my father William Joseph Adair, still living. He was never married to my father's mother, Leah Desallier as far as we know.
Looking for more information on generation Adairs from 1881 and further back.
