Did any Adairs serve in Capt. Enoch's Company with Frederick Cooper ? Frederick Cooper, born in York County, Pennsylvania served in the Revolutionary war with a Pennsylvania company where he drove a service wagon taking supplies to George Washington’s army. Then he left that service after those first battles and moved to Rowan County, North Carolina in 1780, where records of the county show he enlisted as a corporal in a Capt. Enoch’s company. Later, under General Gates, he was captured by the British but managed to escape in a few days. He served under General Morgen at Cowpens and at Eutaw Springs. After the close of the war, he married Dorothy Brown and moved to Wayne County, Kentucky in 1799. Notify Administrator about this message?
