My records show John Adair b 1793 in Fonda Montgomery Co., State of New York; d 13 February 1873 in Ontario, Canada. He married Anna Teetzel/Tietsell daughter of Johannes Tietsell and Rachel Van Till. John Adair was of Scotch-Irish descent. It was a time during or after the war of 1812 that John with family migrated to Canada. His four brothers were: George, Charles, Elijah, and Tice. I do have a bit more about this family.
