I would like to hear from the descendants of
Charles E. Adair, b. Mar. 8, 1858 in New Trenton,
Indiana; son of George R. Adair and Nancy
Hollowell. Charles married Sarah V. Ashworth. They
had at least three children: Laura, b. Aug. 12,
1885; Eva, b. Apr. 17, 1887; and Earl R., b. Oct.
1889. All the children were born in Peoria, IL. The
family moved to Los Angeles about 1892. Charles d.
11/30/29.
Laura m. George C. Watson 10/08/06 in Los Angeles.
They had a dau., Elaine G. Watson, b. abt. 1910 in
Los Angeles.
Eva m. Eugene D. Park in 1912, in Los Angeles.
Earl m. Mae Helen Parlin 01/24/11. They had a dau.,
Kathryn M. Adair, b. abt. 1916.
Elaine Watson m. Clinton M. Eddy in Los Angeles on
7/03/29. The Eddy's were living in Ventura in 1929
Kathryn Adair m. Joseph C. Brown 01/12/39 in Los
Angeles. Kathryn d. 8/93 in Los Angeles?
Eva Adair Park was my grandmother. I have traced
the Adair lineage to Laurens Co., SC, and Antrim
Co., North Ireland. Would appreciate hearing from,
and sharing family history with any descendants of
these lines, especially George's and Charles'
descendants.
