Please, did any of these Adairs own slaves in any of the southern states. My Great Grandmother was Mary Dennis; my great grandfather was Elonzo Adair; my great-great grandmother was Jane Craig Adair; my great-great grandfther was called Green Adair, and would have been in slavery in either Alabama or Georgia. Please, don't be offended for my question. Thank you.
