Charles Duncan Adair (son of John Adair & Jean Kilgore)
and his wife, Sarah Adair (nee Thomas, dau of Isaac Thomas),
gave their daughter, Betty Adair McLain,
40 acres in Murray Co. GA, with the stipulation that
her mother, Sarah Adair, would retain a life estate and the property could not be sold until Sarah's death.
The land was sold to Betty McLain's (nee Adair) nephew, Franklin A. Brown.
