There was an Elizabeth Adair of Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright, Scotland in 1842.
Elizabeth was noted in an inventory of estate of
Charles Gordon, merchant, Castle Douglas who d. 13 Nov 1841.
Also noted was George C. Ross, Culgruff,
(relative of Christian Adair who m. Sir John Ross ?)

Was Elizabeth Adair of Castle Douglas relative of
Adairs of Stranraer, possibly James Adair ? Thankyou.
