Thank you Shirley. I have not had anything new to contribute lately, but am still working at it too.
I am currently looking at John T. Adair who m. Martha Christian Phillips (of Joseph's line). I feel there are connections there to Bozeman and his children. They lived and died in Lithia Springs, Ga. which is in the same area where Bozeman and his children settled. Also, Martha Christian Phillips is connected to Joel Phillips, who m. Elizabeth Harrington, daughter of John Harrington who was son of Thomas Harrington and Mary Whitmell.
As to your question about Northampton. There is a Northampton Co., N.C. right at the Va. line. It was formed in 1741 from Bertie Co., N.C.
There is also Norhampton, Va. that is a finger of land across the Chesapeake Bay from the main body of the state of Va.
Will check to see if I have anything on the James Adaire in Md.
