Francis Bisset Hawkins, b. 1796, St. James, Westminster,
son of Mr. adair Hawkins. "Boase" may refer to a book reference about Francis Bisset Hawkins written by a Mr. Boase.

"After the Restoration, small regular payments were for a time made to indigent soldiers who had been faithful to Charles 1, and the names of a number of Beaminster men eligible to receive these are recorded in 1664 and
1665 : John Hawkins."

East or Higher Axnoller farm - 193 acres,
owned by John Adair Hawkins and farmed by Daniel Akerman.
