Checking through my notes on land sales records by Adairs in Laurens Co., I find that Jesse Wilkerson bought from Thomas Adair acreage adjacent to J. D. Kern, Alexander Fillson, & Dr. George Ross on 17 Sep 1805. I also found an Alexander Wilkerson mentioned in Joseph Adair's will written 20 Jan 1812. I found no evidence, however, that Jesse or any other Wilkerson married an Adair.
