Seeking information on this branch of the Adiar family:
1. Robert Adair b.1766 in Portpatrick, Dumfires and Gallowya,
Scotland. Married Margaret Turner b. 1799 of Ayr, Ayrshire,
Scotland. Two children in Scotland John b. 1828 and Jane,
b. 1830 then they migrate to vic Ogdensburg, NY 1831.
Robert dies 1864. Margaret dies 1889.
2. John Adair (my gggrandfather) b. 1828, d. 1910 marries Emily
Quair in Ogdensburg/Potsdam area.

3. Helen Adair
3. Albert Adair
3. Cora Adair b. 1869(my ggrandmother)
marries Frederick DuMontier of Montreal, Canada
4. Merton Dumontier
4. Irene Delores Dumontier (my grandmother)b. 1891
marries Jesse Allen of Centerville OH.

From my grandmother on, I have a good track on the Allen side but
not so on the Adair family in New York. I seek information
about this family and any possible additional information about
the Portpatrick or Ayr Scotland connection.
